Sharon Pilkey was born and raised in a place called "Birdland" a subdivision in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Thanks to two nature loving parents, she has a special interest in wildlife.
She has been sketching, painting, and sculpting wildlife for many years, and continues to create lifelike portrayals of animals and their habitats in various mediums, privately and for museums.
Sharon has completed a large Forest Diorama for the B.C. Hydro Visitors Centre in Mission, British Columbia, and is currently working on an Interpretation Centre at O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society for birds of prey, in Delta, British Columbia, Canada.
